Introduction to the School of Law

The School of Law was established in 2001 with an undergraduate program of “Law”. The major of law is a first-class and characteristic major in Fujian Province. In the “China Private University First-class Professional Ranking” released by Airuishen alumni network in 2020, it was awarded as China's top private university major, 6-star major, and ranked fifth in the country In 2022, it was awarded as China's Top Applied Professionals, 5-star Professionals, and ranked first in Fujian Province. Aiming at “cultivating high-quality applied legal talents” and featuring “highlighting the cultivation of students’ legal practice ability”, the law major has formed a model of industry-education-government cooperation in educating people, and established off-campus practice teaching bases in more than a dozen units such as the Higher People’s Court of Fujian Province and the People’s Court of Mawei District. It has been given the honorary titles of “Fujian People's Government Legislation Grassroots Contact Point”, “Fujian Advanced Collective for Law in Universities”, “Fujian Most Beautiful Law-preaching Person”, “148” Rule of Law Volunteer Service Platform", “Fuzhou Advanced Collective for Rule of Law Propaganda and Education”, and “Fuzhou Demonstration Point of Rule of Law and Lawfulness” by the provincial and municipal government units.
