On November 8, Yango University held an appointment ceremony for Zhong Changbiao, a Special Professor in the “Cheung Kong Scholars Program” organized by the Ministry of Education. President Jiang Xinhua, along with the heads of relevant departments, leadership team members from the School of Economics and Management, and representatives from both the faculty and student body, participated in the ceremony.

At the ceremony, President Jiang Xinhua warmly welcomed Prof. Zhong Changbiao to Yango University, acknowledging his outstanding achievements in International Trade Studies, Regional Economics, Spatial Economics, and related fields. He noted that Prof. Zhong’s addition will significantly enhance the university’s development in these disciplines and bring renewed vitality to its scientific research efforts.

Prof. Zhong Changbiao expressed his commitment to contributing his knowledge and efforts to Yango University’s social science research, discipline development, and talent cultivation.

After the appointment ceremony, Prof. Zhong Changbiao delivered an insightful academic lecture to the students and teachers in attendance. Centered on the theme of “Methods and Innovations in Social Science Research,” he thoroughly discussed the importance and challenges of social science research and shared his personal experiences in the research process.
