On November 8, Prof. Wang addressed these critical questions, offering insights on the role of technology in advancing educational quality. The lecture was attended by Miss He Mei, Chair of Yango University; Prof. Jiang Xinhua, President of Yango University; the university’s leadership team; and representatives from various departments and colleges.

MCU has devoted years to developing a campus informatization system to enhance teaching quality and overall university competitiveness, achieving notable success. In his lecture, Prof. Wang Jinlong presented a comprehensive overview of trends in higher education, outcome-based education, smart campus initiatives, and learning management systems. He illustrated the impact of information systems on teaching, administration, and research with practical examples from MCU’s own implementation.

Prof. Wang emphasized the importance of deepening a student-centered approach, focusing on learning outcomes, strengthening campus infrastructure, and advancing smart campus initiatives in stages. He advocated for leveraging science and technology to drive teaching and learning innovations and integrating relevant professional content into foundational educational disciplines to enhance talent development. Additionally, Prof. Wang proposed several strategies for advancing higher education, including adopting international accreditation, emphasizing Outcome-Based Education (OBE), enhancing campus informatization infrastructure, and increasing AI awareness and understanding among faculty and students. These recommendations provide valuable insights for Yango University’s continued growth and high-quality development.

After the lecture, Prof. Wang Jinlong engaged in an in-depth discussion with the faculty, sharing insights and providing detailed guidance on developing software resources, designing system architecture, and promoting the platform system.
