From April 24 to 26, the 4th Fujian University Teachers Teaching Innovation Competition hosted by Fujian Provincial Education Department ended at Jimei University. Yango University’s Luo Chengli team of teachers (members: Cheng Yongyong, Cheng Yue, Zhang Liang) won the first prize of the Professor’s Teams (first place) and will represent our province to participate in the national competition (the only team of similar universities to win the qualification to participate in the national competition). Pan Jin’s teacher team (members: Yang Shuhui, Fan Taisheng) won the third prize of the Associate Professor’s Teams and Huang Liqiang’s teacher team (members: Zhang Hong, Wu Dongyuan, Jiang Xintong) won the third prize of the Lecturer’s Teams.

In order to thoroughly prepare for this year’s competition, our school has devoted five months to the preparation process. In the scene of the provincial competition, they demonstrated resilience in the face of pressure, performed with dedication, and achieved outstanding results. Yango university won the highest number of awards in the province for universities of the same kind.
A total of 1,004 teachers from our province actively participated in the competition, signifying a 9.8% increase from the previous year. Subsequently, 268 teachers were chosen to undergo the network evaluation of the provincial competition. Following the network evaluation, 120 lecturers were identified to advance to the on-site competition of the Provincial Competition, including 30 from the professors’ group, 30 from the associate professors’ group, 30 from the lecturers’ group, 15 from the curriculum ideology and politics group, and 15 from the industry-teaching integration group.
